I few weeks ago I went with my cousin to her friend's fashion launch. The designer, Florence Bridge, was holding the event to celebrate the first collection for her line. The collection features striking pieces in bold marble and ink splatter prints which are perfect for the party season this winter. I particularly loved the 'Amber T-shirt', a bejewelled organza top which was perfectly layered over a lace 'Sissy' slip dress. These designs certainly make for an impressive first collection and are now available to shop online at www.florencebridge.com

SHINE BRIGHT

When in Selfridges last week, I came across the amazing collection from Needle & Thread. Their dresses evoke Gatsby glamour through the shimmering bead and sequin work and I immediately fell in love. These seem like the perfect party dresses heading in to the A/W season and they come in a range of cuts for every figure. Here are some photos I took of the dresses in Selfridges...
These dresses are also available on www.selfridges.com

A KISS OF THE ORCHID
Friday, 30 August 2013
AMG fashion is a luxury, unique fashion brand created by Amy Marie Goetz. Amy has been involved in the fashion industry for several years through both modelling and designing - she worked in Miami, New York and LA - and has now set up her own design company. I was really excited to be contacted by Amy and immediately fell in love with her ideas. Above, Amy's recent clutch collection is pictured; these clutches are inspired by the cities of France and I find their uniquely colourful paint pattern enthralling. The other main inspiration for AMG fashion is work by the artist Michael Stervinou and it is his work that inspired Amy's most popular print 'A Kiss of the Orchid'. I love this print's vibrancy and colour and I can immediately see the link between the pattern and art work. Her work evokes luxury, vitality and nonchalance - the perfect combination.
(AMG A Kiss of the Orchid print featured in Zoeey Magazine)
If you love Amy's designs as much as I do click here for her website and here for her facebook to learn more about creativity.

NEW IN
Monday, 5 August 2013
Today I went shopping and my best buy was this Sophie Hulme clutch from Fenwick on Bond Street. I love this bag because its a staple item but also creates such a statement! I've had my eye on Sophie Hulme bags for a while and I'm so glad I got my hands on one. I think this clutch is a great size too because its large but not too bulky! Let me know what you think!Friday, 2 August 2013
MR QUIFFY
Friday, 2 August 2013
Henry Holland, the London based designer with a signature quiff, has set up a clothes selling ice cream van named 'Mr Quiffy'. I visited the quirky and eye catching ice cream van in Covent Garden, but the truck is travelling to several London destinations (Carnaby Street, Seven Dials, Spitalfields...) and the designer's home town of Manchester so you have plenty of chances to see it! The van is selling a capsule collection with prices ranging from £15 to £150 and products such as phone covers and t-shirts. Catch it while you can!
