COURTING

Monday, 14 March 2016
Black courts have to be number one on my essential shoes list. I love how they are so versatile and can take you from day to night as they're both understated and glamourous. To highlight their versatility I've put together four outfits with the Christian Louboutin Classic, the Pigalle, in mind. Take a look below and if you haven't already I'd recommend you invest in a pair of black courts.

Here are some other court alternatives: H&M | Jimmy Choo | Diane Von Furstenburg | Topshop

WINTER SUN

Tuesday, 8 March 2016
It's been freezing in London over the past few days but my instagram feed is full of snaps from Tulum and Bora Bora. So... to get away from the rain and pretend I'm on the beach I've put together a dream holiday edit. I'm longing for summer to hurry up so here are my picks for a hot and sunny get away. I hope you can all get away in the sunshine soon!

LONDON TOWN - TO SHOP

Thursday, 25 February 2016
Shopping in London is amazing! There are great department stores and individual boutiques across the city and today I'm going to share some of my favourite shops in central London with you.

1) To begin it's not quite a shop but I can't resist letting you know about the beautiful Burlington Arcade. Nestled in an arch next to the Royal Academy and opposite the gorgeous Fortnum and Mason Burlington Arcade is a window shopper's Paradise. You can start your trip with macaroons and wander down admiring all of the jewellers and boutiques. Most of the time I just love wandering down the arcade to take a look at all the beautiful window displays and, even without a purchase, it's worth your trip! Manolo Blahnik opened a boutique here in January so now there are even more treats to admire.

2) Next up is & Other Stories. Part of the H&M network, & Other Stories is the place to get unique pieces at high street prices. They have amazing collections with gorgeous prints, designs and fabrics. If you like minimalist design, I would really recommend taking a look at their jewellery and they're also a good spot for shoes you can't find elsewhere on the high street. If you're in to beauty products they also have a range of amazing scented bath and body products. My personal favourite is the body scrub which leaves your skin feeling so smooth.

3) If you want to steal away from the hustle and bustle of Oxford Street, I would recommend the beautiful Fenwick on New Bond Street. Fenwick often gets overshadowed by the big players like Harrods and Selfridges but it's a great place to go if you want a relaxing shop and some interesting brands. For the most part I go to Fenwick just to admire the hairband department. They've scaled it down recently but there are still some amazing hairbands to satisfy the Blair Waldorf within you! If, like me, you're a lover of Charlotte Tilbury makeup I'd visit their Fenwick store over the other big department stores as it's always a bit quieter and you can get great advice from the sales associates.

Up next... My shortlist of what to see in London!

NEW IN

Monday, 5 August 2013
Today I went shopping and my best buy was this Sophie Hulme clutch from Fenwick on Bond Street. I love this bag because its a staple item but also creates such a statement! I've had my eye on Sophie Hulme bags for a while and I'm so glad I got my hands on one. I think this clutch is a great size too because its large but not too bulky! Let me know what you think!

HABERDASHERY

Friday, 2 August 2013

To prepare for a fashion DIY, today I went shopping for some materials! My first stop was Beadworks in Covent Garden where I got waxed cord and some beads for my DIY project. The thing I love most about this shop is its amazing range of beads and materials to make great DIY jewellery - they're really helpful and hold jewellery making classes too!

I also went to London Graphic Centre which, although sometimes limited, stocks all the great essentials for DIY projects and also loads of inspiration in their range fashion books and journals. They also sell a great range of art and craft supplies.

I'm really excited to share my new DIY trial with you tomorrow!
